Yes, it did show up in the bios memory check, but I didn't interpret
it correctly. It would say something like "6GB of memory, 4GB
available".  I misinterpreted this to mean that the bios found 6GB,
but a 32 bit OS would only see 4GB. Now it says 6GB of memory, 6GB
available.
