[PLUG] Vonage and Comcast

Comcast stopped their throttling and replaced it with a monthly limit
last October. If you download/upload more than 250 GB in a month you
will have an increase in your bill for the month. That's more than
adequate for me, but I still don't have a good feeling about the
company. They were up front about the new cap, but when they used to
throttle torrents they did so surreptitiously without telling anyone. I
don't trust them.

I can't get FiOS where I live or I would consider changing. I would be
interested in what people get with other alternatives, though. When I
go to speedtest.com I get results of about 3 MB/s download and 400 KB
upload. According to my understanding, that's 24 Mbit down and about
2.5 Mbit up. Can DSL offer anything to match?
