I tried this on:
- Windows XP, IE8
- Windows XP Opera (10Beta)
- Windows XP Chrome
- Windows XP Firefox 3
- Vista IE8
- Vista Opera (10Beta)
- Vista Chrome
- Vista Firefox 3
- OS X (Leopard, Intel) Safari
- OS X (Leopard, Intel) Opera (10Beta)
- OS X (Leopard, Intel) Firefox 3
I have sometime access to a G4 iBook (Tiger), but haven't gotten to that one
yet.
The documented keys work for the most part with some notable exceptions:
1. Mouse Left Click does not work on any of them.
2. Chrome Backspace key returns to the main wydiwys page every time, with
the expected result that wydiwys keyboard controls are gone.
Under Opera, the last slide (SWF file) shows up as garbage text, not the
pretty cross section rotation animation. The shockwave flash plugin is
loaded and recognized (application/x-shockwave-flash, swf). Maybe there is
a configuration swizzle that is needed. A brief scan of the nets didn't
turn up anything. but I didn't spend a lot of time on it.
I tried the current stable Opera(9.6) on the Mac(Intel) machine, but the
result was worse. One of the keyboard controls, or maybe the SWF load, hung
the browser on a blank page with wydiwys control gone.
