I didn't know something could get a rating of "Garbage"

but clicking around, it also got Gold...  but but that is for an old
version of everything.

I would try current versions.  With Ubuntu, it is dirt simple - like
put the CD in, maybe click setup.exe, and get an "install wine?"
dialog.. more clicking, and next thing you know setup is wizzing away.
