[PLUG] OT: Where to find a USB Mini-A:A cable?

however, as a proud Part Of The Problem, I will respond in the main group
and let you take it to the correct forum next time.

I don't know for sure where you can find the specific cable you are looking
for. The interweb helped me to arrive here:

Free Geek has a whole shelf in their store dedicated to USB cables. there is
one section of it just for "etc" - anything that doesn't fit into one of the
major categories. I dug through the whole thing one day and found some very
weird stuff, including some things I was very surprised to learn existed at
all. I do not recall seeing one that matched your description, but that
doesn't mean much.
