Your description screams of DNS problems. Try setting your local DNS
configuration statically to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3 just for testing, and see if
the problem goes away. If so, you won't be fixing anything by replacing the
WAP.

However, if you don't want to troubleshoot further, what are you going to do
with the WAP4410n when you replace it? If you're selling cheap (since it's
broken, right?) I might make an offer.
