 From what I read there (correct me if I am wrong) the local content 
appears to be intended to be temporary?  That is, content is intended to 
be on web sites, and only on local computers for working offline and 
(then) putting it back on a web site ... or some version thereof?

The description of the ChormiumOS still seems to be "let's not mess with 
hardware - that is the job of BIOS - and let's have all apps and content 
online somewhere."

OK ... that is a web based thin client, is it not?  If that could be run 
as an in-house thing with no access to the Internet, I should think a 
lot of companies should be interested in it ... if they are not in too 
deep with MS to consider it.

Outside of the business venue (which is a large part of PC computing 
today), is there a large enough audience for something like ChromiumOS 
to warrant the effort (rhetorical question)?
