[PLUG] Eschalon Book 1 slow...

I am running it under Fedora 12 on a P4 3.06 Ghz with 1.5 gigs of ram
and an HD 3450 Radeon AGP card.  The game seems a bit on the slow side.
Supposedly all that is needed is a 1.6 ghz celeron to play this, so I am
a bit amazed that my P4 would not be cutting it.

I've been playing the demo release, why buy the full release if I'm not
satisfied with it?

Has anyone else had problems with this game running slow under Linux?
