Do you need something larger than a 4GB file?  The volume limit is 8TB.
NTFS on Linux is in some kernels but not all.  I'm not sure how MacOS X would
do with a NTFS volume.  FAT32 is safer unless you needs permissions or files
larger than 4GB.
