Your desktop and Vaio probably have a "gtk-key-theme-name" entry in
~/.gtkrc-2.0. Setting that attribute to "Emacs" gives you Emacs-like
key bindings in the location bar and other text entry fields.

    $ cat .gtkrc-2.0 
    gtk-key-theme-name = "Emacs"
