hi folks,

a little background. the system is a qnap turbostation i flashed debian
arm onto. just fidgeting around (i never learn better...) i install
blockcontrol and moblock, at which point i quit being able to mount nfs
share on the LAN (this despite having all LAN traffic whitelisted in
blockcontrol). i removed moblock and blockcontrol, rebooted, still not
able to mount nfs... so i tried rebooting nfs-kernel server, and i get:

root at QNAP:~# /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server restart
Stopping NFS kernel daemon: mountd nfsd.
Unexporting directories for NFS kernel daemon....
Starting NFS kernel daemon: nfsdrpc.nfsd: Setting version failed: errno
16 (Device or resource busy)
rpc.nfsd: writing fd to kernel failed: errno 12 (Cannot allocate memory)
rpc.nfsd: unable to set any sockets for nfsd
 failed!

a little further inspection shows:

root at QNAP:~# /usr/sbin/rpc.nfsd -d
rpc.nfsd: knfsd is currently down
rpc.nfsd: Writing version string to kernel: +4.1 +2 +3 +4
rpc.nfsd: Setting version failed: errno 16 (Device or resource busy)
rpc.nfsd: Creating inet TCP socket.
rpc.nfsd: writing fd to kernel failed: errno 12 (Cannot allocate memory)
rpc.nfsd: unable to set any sockets for nfsd

i have no idea where to go from here. :( any tips?

thanks,

nathan
