These are all functions of the libvirt stack which while it works w/
several VM backends, but is commonly used w/ KVM:
http://libvirt.org/
virt-manager (GUI for managing VMs, VNC display of console)
virsh (interactive shell and scriptable mgmt tool)
So KVM doesn't really have a GUI, but libvirt does. I can't say enough
good things about libvirt.
