Computer science is as relevant to Linux as it is to any other operating
system one may want to discuss. If every computer scientist on the face
of the earth dropped dead tomorrow, that would be a massive setback for
Linux. A student mailing list is not appropriate because I need
assistance from outside the PSU system. If I'm going to be able to code
device drivers for Linux in the future I'm going to need to know
something about compilers and a good deal about algorithms. This is not
a plug-talk appropriate discussion because plug-talk is for politically
biased garbage.
