Ditto that. I upgraded and didn't actually notice that Subversion was
a new major version.

FWIW, sounds like the repos themselves are not upgraded unless you
explicitly do so w/ a "svnadmin upgrade" and v1.6 will happily work w/
v1.[45] repos:
