[PLUG] Setting Display Resolution With xrandr

   My laptop has a default screen resolution of 1440x900, but xfce can see
only 1280x800. I want to add an xrandr command to ~/.xinitrc to set the
resolution to 1440x900 but I don't know which xrandr option to use.

   There is the --mode option, but that wants a complete mode line, and I
don't know what to specify other than the x,y size of 1440x900.

   Advice needed.
