[PLUG] Questions on the .gvfs folder in the /home/[owner] area and changing its permissions

Well actually it did just a little bit.  I was able to unmount the
.gvfs directory and change the permissions as "su".  But when I went
to remount it, the system complained that no such entry was found in
the /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab.  I suspect only on system reboot will
this directory get remounted again, and I suspect with the file
permissions reset back to the default value 500.

I guess for me the --exclude option is working just fine, as I did
watch several scores of files get deleted from my home area on the
backup disk which I knew were old files.
