[PLUG] Sony Vaio Wireless Issue: Update

Rich, I have had the same type of problem on my laptop. I am not sure why
it works, but have you tried the function keys on the laptop for
enabling/disabling the wireless card? I cannot get NM to bring up the
wireless card if it has been disabled via the function keys, even across
reboots. Once enabled via the function keys, NM works normally and can
enable/disable it as you would expect.
