I've usually had the best luck with the OSU mirror at
http://ubuntu.osuosl.org/ ; if I remember the specs correctly, they have
a 2GB pipe (PSU I think only uses a 100MB pipe). In other words, they've
got the closest big pipe available. 

While the other comments on torrents are true, that can generally be
addressed by checking the MD5SUM or SHA1SUM key for the download.
