Okay, that worked. I didn't really understand what was
in my /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern previously. I think
it started with a vertical bar -- |.
I didn't do the
echo '1' > /proc/sys/fs/suid_dumpable
yet, but may need it for the next steps. I've just
tested it with that little script and will work on
this with my server next.
