For those whose budget is limited, I can bring an external enclosure
to use the clinic.  As always, some advanced preparation can save
money, and time at the clinic.  Shop around for your new drive; even
if you do not buy the drive from newegg.com, their user reviews are
helpful and informative, often with useful comments by Linux users.
Some are as intelligent as the smart folks on this list!
