Hello Rich,
   Perhaps as Russell suggested your DSL modem is losing its
connection and when it reconnects it is getting a new IP address. You
could watch the right lights on the DSL modem for a while to see if
that is happening, or maybe there is an easier way to detect this?
Maybe your line has a bad connector, or a bad filter ?
