[PLUG] Package List Error?

So I'm running ub 12.04 LTS, and I do sudo apt-get check  and I get:

Reading package lists... Error!
E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList
/var/lib/apt/lists/security.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise-security_main_i18n_Translation-en
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

My question: Is there a way to overwrite the bad file, (if it's there
and unusable or install it if it's missing?
