[PLUG] asking an STL::map<> question

Is it permissable to ask a C++ question relating to the STL::map class?

I have encountered a problem in setting up a simple example, the
mapping seems to have a quirk in it, and I wrote some simple C++ code
to see if this problem can be reproduced.

But I am not sure in the linux forum is a place to ask this or not?
