John,

   What do you want to accomplish with rpcdebug? The man page tells me that
it's to "set and clear NFS and RPC kernel debug flags". Is that what you
want?

   "Everything" germane to what?

   Do you want more detail in entries to syslog? The '-d' option to syslogd
adds verbosity.
