As I have posted here ad nauseam I cannot view an nfs share on the
client. The share mounts perfectly, but attempting to view it results
in "permission denied." Yesterday at the Clinic Keith spent a lot of
time trying to figure out what is wrong, and in the process was unable
to find any log entries anywhere relative to the problem. He feels
(and I think he is dead right) that the first step is to get some error
messages. The tool for that seems to be rpcdebug, but at this time it
appears to be generating only a thundering silence, although it has
always been installed on both the server and the client. My goal is to
get it to spill some facts.
