I was able to go from zero free space all the way up to 159 MB free space.

It looks like all the suitable candidates have been cleared out.

One thing that support link recommends is to move the page file to 
another drive. Alas, it doesn't seem to work to move it to the shared drive.

I've been leaning in the direction of just reinstalling Windows in a new 
virtual machine on the 1TB drive Ubuntu 14.-4 is on, and giving it a 
decent sized virtual hard drive to work with. I'm thinking 80 GB should 
be okay.
