So, the {F2} key lets you track this, and you can Condense years past (the
specific date range is up to you) if you ever surpass 14,500 invoices,
names (vendors, employees, and members), or items, as per
http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/pages/inproducthelp/core/qb2k12/contentpackage/core/convert_sba/info_list_maximums.html
.
Don't know how you could, this is a problem normally faced by high volume
businesses, but
http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/Support/pages/inproducthelp/core/qb2k12/contentpackage/core/file_condense/info_data_condense.html
describes how to avoid it.

You can also, if you decide you need to go Elsewhere, search for third
party conversion services

to
pull your data out, if exporting reports to Excel doesn't do what you want.

You can have The Google search the Intuit knowledge Base for questions and
find answers from the link
https://www.google.com/search?num=100&q=site%3Asupport.quickbooks.intuit.com+&oq=site%3Asupport.quickbooks.intuit.com
-
just add what you're looking for in the search box.

has
a downloadable manual for you.
