Fwiw, although the article uses the works "accessible remotely", they
really mean locally.  The 192.168.100.1 is only accessable, afaik, from
the ethernet side of the device, or perhaps some VLAN or similar on the
coax side.  Nothing that a random hacker on the other side of the
internet could reach.
