   Having the .iso on a mounted USB drive makes no difference.

   The Ethernet controller on the Dell laptop is a 'Broadcom Corporation
NetXtreme BCM5761e Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (rev 10)'.

   The version of virtio-win-0.1.118.iso should be the latest.
