   Ya' know, it probably does but I did not know the capability exists. Years
ago I read that emacs is a text editor that has everything, including the
kitchen sink. And I knew someone who did everything he needed (including
mail, news groups, and web pages) within emacs running in a console.

   I'll see if I can find a list of built-in emacs/elisp functions.
