   I don't know about Grainger, but I've purchased a few things at the Platt
store in Gresham. I've also purchased glass labware at a wholesale
distributor because there is no local retailer. My experience has been that
if it's a one-off sale and not a regular practice they'll accommodate you.
They still make money on the sale (perhaps enough for a coffee or two.)
