[PLUG] Boingo Airport Wifi and Linux?

I have Boingo through AMEX. It has been a long time since I had to log into
it, indeed when I run into it I get logged on automagicly AFTER I try to
reach
some site that is not running secure web pages.

I use foo.com as the target to elicit the proper response from the network
cop
that gets me to the login page I do the login thing and from there on out to
where I am going. The big thing is to use a non-encrypted web site so the
redirection works or it will fail every time.

I also run into the same thing with hotel WiFi and other sites that require
some
sort of login or you promising you will not do spurious activities on their
network.
(As if that was going to stop someone who wanted to do so)
