I'm about to start installing Slackware 14.2 on my extra desktop
machine. I recall from earlier instructions that I need to run fdisk -l.
Here's the result:
$ sudo fdisk -l
[sudo] password for rsteff:
Disk /dev/sda: 931.5 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 4096 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 4096 bytes / 4096 bytes
Disklabel type: gpt
Disk identifier: EE67CD19-07E4-4A27-AB6F-9842C59308F4
Device Start End Sectors Size Type
/dev/sda1 2048 1050623 1048576 512M EFI System
/dev/sda2 1050624 1936863231 1935812608 923.1G Linux filesystem
/dev/sda3 1936863232 1953523711 16660480 8G Linux swap
Am I correct in assuming that I can keep this partition layout and just
install to /dev/sda2?
