pipe to tar, pipe to netcat. sha256sum afterwards.

some people will only need their memories jogged with commandline
tools. some will require more extensive hand holding. some people will
be able to competently use google with a few pointers, some not.
sometimes it's not clear the use case or skill level of the
questioner.

i was kind of put off by the harangue.
