At the clinic we got Google Earth to work on my desktop machine. I
recall that we had to enable something related to 3D graphics. I don't
recall if that was nVidia specific or not.
My laptop, Lenovo X200 Tablet, does not have nVidia. lshw reports:
id:
display: 0
description: VGA compatible controller
product: Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller
vendor: Intel Corporation
physical id: 2
bus info: pci at 0000:00:02.0
version: 07
width: 64 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: msi pm vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom
configuration: driver = i915
latency = 0
resources: irq : 45
memory : f2000000-f23fffff
memory : d0000000-dfffffff
ioport : 1800(size=8)
What do I look for/install to get Google Earth working on the laptop?
I tried running google-earth-pro from a terminal, hoping to see it
complain about missing something, but it doesn't report anything.
