S.M.A.R.T. is a topic that could use a refresher course. I spent a lot of
time working with people who apply treat look at SSD durability the same
way they look at HDD durability. It's a good idea to revisit the topic of
hard drive durability, since solid state media doesn't fail the same way a
magnetic platters do.
