[PLUG] Modem Retrains Every 1/2 hour or so

I finally connected to Centurylink DPON service using the 800-788-3600.
Talked with a laid back John who seemed to know his stuff. The standard
service center kept giving me a number that would never let me out of
automation hell. I am on a Digital Passive Optical Network which does not
use SDSL. So all those retraining messages are just noise. The modem
just does not know that so it spends its time retraining itself. This
would be funny if it were in another situation.

Thanks for the replies.
