For your purposes, it sounds as if almost any SSD would be suitable. 
Personally I like to stick with name brands for my data, so I would 
choose a drive from Crucial, Intel, or Samsung, but as others have 
suggested, other brands are also likely to meet your needs.

I see Newegg has a Crucial BX500 240 GB drive for $30.
