Hello pluggers,
My corporate overlord has migrated us to Windows 10 laptops. The
USB-to-serial converter worked on Windows XP and Windows 7 but now has
compatibility issues on Win10. Radioshack is now defunct, and Gigaware
is some OEM phantom brand.
This cable uses the Prolific PL2303 chipset (no idea which version). It
appears to work on my linux box, but I can't really test since I no
longer have any serial devices.
Offering this gadget free to anyone in the Portland/Vancouver area.
