John, et al.:
I would like your help by expanding this video conferencing thread to
include webinar hosts.
This past Sunday I asked if anyone has experience using freeconferencecall
to host a webinar, and apparently no one has.
Yesterday I closely read FCC's web site and saw their requirements for linux
users is very highly restrictive. So I wrote to them about using FCC to host
webinars from my Slackware hosts running Xfce4. Here's their response:

Wow! I didn't know an application could be so restricted to one linux
distribution, particularly a 6-year-old one.
I would appreciate your help in identifying a webinar host, preferably
cost-free, open source, and supportive of all linux distributions.
While I have ideas for business-related video conferences my immediate need
is to present webinars. And employing video and 'Net communications other
than e-mail is all new to me so I need to learn how to fill my needs.
TIA,
Rich
