    As a result, we have a very special opportunity to have him speak,
    but must move our meeting to TUESDAY evening to make this happen.

      Jeff Waugh has been traveling for a month and a half, criss-crossing
      the northern hemisphere, to bring the world of Ubuntu to our
      doorstep.  His final stop is Portland before going back to 
      his home in Australia.

      Jeff has been GNOME Release Manager (2001-2005), Director of 
      the GNOME Foundation Board (2003-2004), president of the Sydney 
      Linux User's Group (2002-2004), and member of the linux.conf.au 
      2001 organising team. 

      Jeff will be talking about Ubuntu Linux, GNOME, the role of Free/
      Open Source Software in developing countries (and the US, of course).
      Expect badgers, mushrooms, schnaaaaaakes, an awful lot of
      Ubuntu CDs, and a healthy dose of madcap hijinks.
