                                 PRESENTATION

                             Introduction to TeX

      TeX is a computer language designed for use in typesetting; 
      in particular, for typesetting math and other technical 
      material.  Extremely high quality work can be done with
      TeX.  Indeed, this is TeX's niche market.

      Robin is the Executive Director of the TeX Users Group, which is
      the guiding organization for Tex.  Karl Berry is the President of
      the TeX Users Group.  Robin and Karl will describe TeX along with 
      some of it's extensions.

                   PLUG's monthly hands on clinics, PLUG for Education,

          P.S.  BLUEgroup (The Beaverton Linux Users Education Group)
                is a group geared toward new users or those interested 
                in learning more about Linux.  BLUE group meets on the 
                4th Thursday of every month (except Thanksgiving and 
                Christmas) at the corner of Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy and

          P.S.  PDXLUG provides a less formal alternative to PLUG
