My client is looking for an experienced Linux kernel software
engineer.

Minimum skills:
* Linux/UNIX kernel development experience
* Linux/UNIX kernel file system development
* Five or more years related software experience
* Work well in teams and able to communicate effectively

Desired skills:
* Distributed lock manager experience
* Volume manager experience
* Linux/UNIX device driver experience

Job duties would include:
* Design, implementation, and test of UNIX kernel features including
device drivers and file system software.
* Design, implementation, and test of UNIX user level code such as
file system check, repair utilities, and configuration utilities.
* Discuss/review the design and implementation of kernel and user
level code modules. Support customer problems by working with, and
advising, the field service organization.

Candidate should have a B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering or
related experience.
