Job Title: 
DBA / Network Administrator

Job Description: 

Responsibilities include providing DBA support for Oracle databases
on UNIX platforms.  Convert ERD models into physical database schemas
(including tables, indexes, triggers, and stored procedures); optimizing
and maintaining the database(s) and performance tuning.  Maintain
operational and developmental databases, including data migrations.
Maintain and develop shell scripts and system utilities.  Additional
responsibilities include Windows networking support.

DBA Responsibilities:
*	Database installation and configuration
*	Performance monitoring and tuning
*	Monitoring and issue ticketing for all production databases
*	Ensure adherence to production DBA procedures by all members of the Operations group
*	Back-up/recovery procedures 
*	Responsible for the partitioning of large data sets
*	Migrate data from production databases
*	Maintain and enhance rule migration and cloner scripts and develop other PL/SQL scripts
*	Regularly keep management abreast of technical issues and their impact to the business
*	Develop and implement processes and procedures as needed to provide 7x24 support for the company's databases.

Windows Networking Responsibilities:
*	Windows networking administration & provide support to Network Administrator
*	Handle PC and Printer issues for a small company 
*	Experience with LAN/WAN Cisco, Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP, email setup

Job Requirements: 
This job requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and at least 3 
years of Oracle database administration and PL/SQL experience and 1-2 years Windows 
network administration.  Oracle and/or MCSE certification is a plus.  Additional 
responsibilities may be required as assigned.
