We are looking for a systems administrator to keep everything running
so I can do my work. :)  Please send your resume and a brief introduction
about your experience to brendan.miller at cmsi-ce.com if you are interested
and meet the following description, duties, and skill set:


Job Description:

Assist Lead Developer with system administration role for distributed
network of Linux servers and thin-clients running standard UNIX server
applications.  Make sure software software packages are up to date,
including proprietary software developed in-house.  Design and implement
automated software update tools.  Light database administration activities
as relates to proprietary application.  Occasional troubleshooting onsite
may be required.

Skills:

Proficient in configuration and administration of:
 * RedHat 9
 * Apache
 * Squid
 * Linux networking, including wireless 802.11b/g, named, dhcpd, and nfs
 * Netfilter/iptables
 * PostgreSQL

In addition, experience writing/debugging/enhancing Perl scripts to automate
repetitive procedures is a must.  Bash and other scripting languages
helpful,
though not required.

Position is located in Portland (as per the address below).
