On behalf of a valued client, EdgeLink is seeking a talented Linux QA Engineer...

Responsibilities:

Testing of Linux systems.  Develop automated test cases using a variety of scripting languages for Storage Area Networks, Files Systems, Storage Array, and other Linux based products.  Install and configuration of Linux RedHat OS.

Qualifications:

The individual must have a Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent; 3 -5 + years of related experience as a test engineer or equivalent.  In-depth understanding of creating and running automated test plans on Linux OS.  Experience testing Storage Area Networks, File Systems, and Storage Arrays.  Fluent with Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.  C/C++ programming is a plus as is experience testing in a Windows environment.

This is a contract to hire opportunity (6 month contract then convert to permanent).  The position is in Portland Metro. Salary depends on experience.
