[PLUG-JOBS] linux tutor needed

i don't know if this is the appropriate forum so please excuse any mailing list
faux pas on my part.  I need help getting sound to work on my laptop.  I don't
know how to get the maestro.o module loaded (or how to add modules at all).  I
tried mod-utils but keep running into errors.  I am willing to compensate with
 a donation to PLUG.  Please help poor student that is trying to
use linux on an older machine.
