Job description
 ----------
 
 This individual will work as a member of the NWEC team to provide
first 
 and second level Windows and Unix system support for Design 
 Engineers.  Both UNIX and Windows admin skills are required.
 
 Primary tasks include: answering user questions by telephone, call
tickets and 
 email.  For those questions (should be less than 40%) beyond this
scope, 
 the candidate will be responsible for forwarding the request to the 
 appropriate Systems Engineer for resolution.  Additionally, this
candidate 
 will be responsible for critical restoration of data from backup
tapes for 
 the end users; assisting end-users with troubleshooting problems and
in 
 clarifying the true nature of problems with system vs. application
 vs. network; direct interaction with engineering customers. 
Candidate
 must have a BS/BA (or equivalent) and 5-7 years of directly related
 experience and can demonstrate good communication and interpersonal
skills. 
 Good organization skills, high energy/motivation and customer
service 
 orientation are required as well as general knowledge of the
 Windows/UNIX and/or CAD environment.  Must be able to work with a
high
 performance team in a rapidly changing environment.  Professional
customer service
 and communication skills.  Detail oriented.
