Description:

We are seeking a senior level, experienced software engineer to fill 
this position. The candidate who fills this position will be expected to 
take a large degree of ownership in assisting with the feature 
definition and development for an entire product line, and will need to 
show successful cooperation with marketing, sales, and other 
organizations at their prior companies. This engineer will be 
responsible for collaborating with marketing and sales to refine product 
plans, create specifications and then implement the product based on the 
requirements identified. Rapid prototyping skills will be used from time 
to time as well.

Qualifications:

Candidates seeking to fill this position should have experience working 
with the following technologies: MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, VC-1, ATM 
networking, IP networking (network programming as well as internetwork 
design skills) SNMP agent implementation and DSP programming. Network 
processor experience is an optional but desirable skill as well. 
Practical experience working with the following products is also 
expected of a successful candidate: vxWorks 5.2/5.4, Linux programming 
(both application level and kernel level), and Texas Instruments DSP 
programming experience.
