[PLUG-JOBS] instructor needed for 2 Linux classes

[Rendar, Byron]

Hi,

Portland Community College is looking for instructors for 2 non-credit
Linux classes this fall.

We are offering 2 Linux classes in the Fall for which we are seeking
instructors.

One class is 4 hours on Samba and the other is a 16 hour class on Linux
topics that depend on student and instructor interest ranging from
things like performance and turning and optimization, compiling a
customized kernel, ssh, modules, security, dhcp, dns, etc.

The Samba class is scheduled for 10:30-12:30 on a Friday-Saturday at the
Capital Center in Beaverton. The Topics class is scheduled for 2 weeks
in October in the evening at SE.

We prefer someone with previous teaching experience. The instructor
would need to develop materials/labs. Pay is $40/hour. Since these are
new classes we have no idea if we will get enough students for them to
go.

If you know someone who may be interested, would you please pass this on
and have them contact me.
